Where do you get the time and information for The Central Statistics Office (CSO)?

Have you got the latest round of Statistics forms sent by the CSO.
The quarterly "Earnings, Hours & Employment Costs Survey" or the "Prodcom" asking how much in Kgs or tonnes you sold of your products.

Payroll data for a company can be found but it can take time to assemble into the format required by the CSO. You should really be computerised for payroll.

For Tonnage or KG's sold, unless you are using s stock control system and have put in the weight of every product, you can only estimate what you have sold. Sales Value in Euro's is always available, but weight?

So where do you do to get this information?
For payroll, buy a payroll program. They are cheap and plentiful e.g. www.thesaurus.ie
Stock information is another story. Your accounts software needs to have a stock module and you must enter the weight of every product you sell, but you must first be sure that you have every product setup in the stock system.

This is a lot of time and money for a CSO form. Alternatively you could also just provide an estimate or guesstimate! But it must be correct and traceable no matter what numbers you use.
