This week I have helped a few of my clients to prepare their P35 and send it to the Revenue Commissioners. They all use payroll software with an option to file the P35 online with ROS. So sending the P35 to the Revenue is a simple process of point and click and hey presto you have generated your P35, files it online and paid any balance outstanding in less that 10 minutes.
The ROS system is excellent for filing your P35 online and if you have not already done so, computerise your payroll system, register with ROS and file not only your P35 but your P45's and P30's along with a whole lot of other tax paperwork.
The time it saves is incredible. No filling out a P35 and hand writing every P60. Irish Payroll accounts software from Thesaurus or Collsoft both for less than €150 (includes 1 year phone support and updates) more than pays for itself just filing the P35 and printing out the P60's.
Register for the Revenue Online Service, it can simplify and speed up your administration. There is no cost to register and use it.
